In my humble personal opinion, CitiCell's 'palabe kothay' is a complete advertising disaster. It took me a long time to understand the promotion billboards across the city. Finally when I got to see the TVCs and radio promos, I got to understand what the advertisement is trying to convey. Well, though CitiCell tried to do something different from GrameenPhone, BanglaLink or Warid, in terms of stepping away from the much hyped 'patriotism' angle, they could have done a better job in ad content and delivery.

i agree as it created no meaning to me as well. if citycell is trying to reach the mass people ( i mean village people) by trying to depicting the bangla cinema style in their ad >> it still doesnt make sense>> as CCell is not reaching much only wth this ad. except this ad city cell doesnt have ne other marketing activity in rural places as far as i m concerned.nd urban population is not getting a good msg frm this ad though it shows laptop wth net connection bcoz citycell doesnt promote ne net connection in their campaign. its better to concentrate on service quality and more value added services nd highlighting these wth lesser charge.
