Credit Rating Information Services Ltd (CRISL) has upgraded the credit rating of Prime Bank Ltd to "AA" from "A+" in its long term scales while reaffirmed "ST-2" rating for the short-term obligations to the bank. It is worth mentioning here that these letter ratings are the highest ratings so far earned by any local private commercial bank based on its fundamentals. The upgradation is attributable to Prime Bank's impressive growth rate, improvement in profitability, superior asset quality, and satisfactory non-funded business as on 31 December 2006. Good going Prime Bank. Is there any list available online from credit rating agencies about the credit scores of Bangladeshi corporates?
